Semi Naked Ride DONE

Here's the aftermath this morning:

I'm on the ibuprofen today and I've fcuked up my shoulder again
Luckily though I had my clothes back on when it happened ;D

That was quite a good laugh and nice to get out MTBing again.

While the two of us were waiting in the car park to see if anyone else was coming, the girl in the car parked next to me (who had been sitting there reading) got out and we wondered if she was waiting for some people doing a semi naked ride.
We didn't think she had a bike with her but imagine our faces when she opened the boot and revealed a shiny full suss. She then got some clothes out and changed her trousers in front of us then got back in the car.
We thought our luck was in and just as I was about to ride down and ask if she was coming on a naked bike ride, someone pulled up next to her in a pickup with a bike in the back who appeared to know her. Close shave that one.

Edit: And when we got back to the car park, her and all her mates were nowhere to be seen. They didn't overtake us so we've no idea where they all went.

Like smithy said we didn't see anybody out on the trail. Not even any walkers.
We did wait behind some bushes when we heard a car coming up the road, then rode down the road past the houses at which point some dogs started barking and trying to chase us.

The midges weren't a problem at all which was nice. Made for very pleasant riding.

My off was on a flattish straightforward bend (by the boat symbol next to 'Endor' on the map). I think I was just going too fast around the corner but it ended up with a pinch flat, twisted handlebars, bashed knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle
Noticed today when I unloaded the car (didn't get home until after midnight) a small kink in the front wheel, but that might've been from getting big airtime on the jumps and schlonging up the take off/landing every time ;D (nosedived no.1, nearly backflipped no.2, did no.3 sideways at 45 degrees and nearly dropped the bike mid air on no.4 ).

Good night out apart from the pain.

Smithy's cry of "oh it feels so good" after getting changed and riding down the first section will haunt me forever
