What can I say, look totally mint, I can't wait to do it.
Just one thing I want to know though....
"How did that Tarbo manage to wangle an invite?"

Just one thing I want to know though.... "How did that Tarbo manage to wangle an invite?" By being cheeky and inviting myself ;D After a 10 hour night shift on Friday, I got home for 5am and thought to myself, what better to relax than go to bed pick Jeff up at 7am and put in a ride with the WOW factor The route that Jeff put together contained a bit of everything, Gnarly sections, single track, leg busting climbs and as with everyone of Jeff's rides I've been on, boggy fields I have not said the word 'WOW' so much in my life. It seemed that every time we turned a corner there was something else to see that would take your breath away. On more than one occasion I was lost for words and just stood there open mouthed The truth was, it was a hard ride. Lots of pushing up mountains, leg burning climbs, boggy sections that tried to suck your bike down under the ground. But that was soon forgotten as soon as the views came into sight. Truly stunning Looking forward to a nice easy flat ride tomorrow around The Clwyds with Gus and co A big thanks to Jeff for sorting out the route, letting me tag along and also for all those fantastic pictures. I shall be posting mine up as soon as I've uploaded them

... it begs the question, why do people go to trail centres ? A question I ask all the time!

Great pics Chris, I'm not use to seeing myself in the photo so often: Thanks for the comments, and the reason for not posting b4 hand was the gamble on the 'new' parts of the route I wasn't sure whether it was doable or not But I suppose it was a tough one Anyway just a couple more reccy's to do and it will be a defo for a forum ride in the dry season After being down that way in the last couple of weeks I'm itching to do some more exploring around the area I've got my eye on a little cracker around the NE of Blaenau, them quarry workings have so much to offer

Fair do's Jeff you're a man after my own heart.....sitting hunched over a landranger map with a cup of tea and a highlighter trying to put a route together is one of the next best things to actually riding.
After checking out the pics from your most recent efforts I cannot wait for this months forum ride....just one thing, any chance you could book the same weather for the 27th? :-)
