Well as planned myself, Voodopiles and jllj set off for them big hills. And wow what a beast of a day Bone dry trials, good weather and a good craic made a classic ride very memorible My camera was out of action, so await the pics from Andy and John l8r ;D

Cracking ride Jeff, and cheers for leading the troops (except up hill) ,and thanks to John for dispensing with the myth that I might be getting quicker up the hillsmountains. I've got a few pics but I'll upload them later as I'm knackered and can't be fussed faffing around at the moment as I have some beverages to consume Edit : Jeff !!!! You forgot to mention the bear

Here's the route for those of you who are insane enough enough to give it a go!!! And yes, we did catch a glimpse of a native grizzley bear up on the tops, either that or it was a fecking very large brown sheep

Awesome ride, though legs are paying for it now. Sorry I held you guys up fixing punctures all day! Must be a new forum record for punctures. I'll post the pics I took tomorrow as knackered myself. Even the car clutch on the way home was a struggle for my legs. Thanks again for the route, wanna do it again soon (mabye not too soon).

What distance was the route Only 24 mile with 4700ft of climbing. However, it is one seriously tough one with large chunks of pushing Great for perfect weather, unthinkable if the rain/cloud is about

What time yesterday were you up at the top drum yesterday? From looking at pics, in pics 4 & 8 are marks where our tents were, as we camped up there on Sat night.

Now then, that's solve the mystery of the turd that we spotted with the toilet paper still attached...you could have at least gone behind a wall ;D

Good Pictures. Think I should clarify the pizza issue. It was a 12" pizza with olives and extra cheese. But only the leftovers from the night before. Still tasted good though! I will bring more next time. As for punctures, that was the first ride I've done in about 3 years non tubeless, I think it will be my last. Though getting light non tubeless tyres to run tubeless is a learning cure that I'm still perfecting. So far the net result is explosions.

Loving the pics guys ;D I'm not use to seeing me in the picture as I'm usually the one taking them Again, award for most flats on a ride goes to John and also the climbing award fair play for making the slog up to Foel Fras

Gutted I couldn't make it again, but really didn't want to let anyone down by not turning up to my own ride.
Superb photos lads, great landscape and looks simply amazing. My kind of riding.
