Best ride I've been on for a while. All the better for the excellent finish Felt longer than 21miles though. A bid thx to Steve for organizing it. You missed a crackin ride m8 Superb effort by everybody especially with the conditions in some places. Just ordered my ice specific tyres of wiggle Here's a thingy of the route.

Looks like a good turn out and a great sunny day for it. Loads more ice than Llandegla by the looks of it... thought it always thawed out faster over there Dave, do you have a gpx of the route? I'm trying to get my head round the bit from the Marin over to Crafnant... looks good in the photos

Some great pics smithy it was in deed one of the best rides I've been on, the company & banter were top draw and the marin twisted variation was excellent, I really liked the conditions today and the weather was spot on.

Have to add that was an awesome ride. Gnarly dude (well in the end doing the marin off piste decent in the dark!) Condition I think were good, just icy enough to keep you on your toes. Cheers for the gear cable. Think my bike needs a service after sitting in the shed while the snows been here. Good crack and good long ride. Definitely felt longer than it was, but conditions were tough. Few offs for me, but nothing serious. Made up for the lack of riding due to the snow.

Brilliant ride today, cheers Steve for posting it up, hope your feeling better soon. Felt good to put some miles and hills in for a change. Great turn out and some great riding on show with Lloydy and his blatant disregard for his personal safety and Gill putting all of us lads to shame on them technical climbs. Cheers dudes and dudettes, until the next rad gnarly ride Ps. cheers to all the photographers, some great pics there and I'm guessing some more good ones on the way from the Tarbenator

Disappointed to miss out today but driving after only getting in 4 hours earlier not the best thing to do. Has anyone got a memory map of route they could email?

Disappointed to miss out today but driving after only getting in 4 hours earlier not the best thing to do. Has anyone got a memory map of route they could email? Get yourself on the next one bud. It aint good emailing gpx files around of such routes as before you know it half of North Wales is riding it and these routes take a lot of effort to put together by people.

Looks ace, really like the Marin twisted ride.
Oggy-as a VERY slight alteration to the route-where you descend down to the Crafnant jumps, if you carry on over to the left at the top a little way, theres a better (by which i mean, a bit more technical) descent down to the jumps which brings you out actually onto the jumps on the other side of the buildings. Not actually a bad little track for a quick session while you're there.
