Thanks to all that turned up for a Clwyds onslaught, some testing conditions with the icy ground and then the muddy sections. A few offs on the off-piste sections and no camera in sight! Hopefully everyone enjoyed their day out and a big well done to us all for getting a ride like that done at this time of year. I'll post my photos up later on atfer I've cleaned up and had some grub.

Thanks Gus for today ...great ride with some nice downhill runs ;D. Probably the toughest route I've done so far...struggling towards the end...thighs are shot. A few bottles of Cider are called for tonight . Some pics of the day. Good pics Meiron ! Thanks Gus for a day of pain ;D Struggled a bit today- maybe it was the cold, really hard to keep the muscles warm today. Still very enjoyable with great company and banter all day ;D one memorable moment for me was accidently getting air over a jump I forgot was there- scared myself ;D ;D

Nice pictures there. Thanks Gus for a great route. although as it was my first ride for two months and I struggled a bit at times... We were so lucky with the weather, it made the ride a really good day out. just demolished a huge roast dinner so feet up in front of the fire now :-)
Catch you all again soon!

Thanks Gus for the ride today! found that quite testing with the "spongy" terrain on the clwyds, well and truly zapped my legs! really enjoyed it though. great company and some good banter to!

Thanks Gus and all. Had a fantastic day, but did struggle getting my leg over towards the end of the ride and for the tape mi lord that was over my bike, stiles and anything else that required a cocking of the leg, smithy did plenty of that for all of us, what was the comment about a dog leaving its scent ?
I am trying really hard to put names to faces so forgive me if I'm not quite there yet and for whom it may concern, no further comments about my posterior hanging over my back wheel as I found brambles in my socks when I took them off. Lol (I guess you had to be there!!)
Great day.......... Thanks

Thanks for leading today Gus, fantastic day to be out, and the frost helped to neutralise the Clwyds mud a little bit. I think quite a few people will be feeling those 17 hilly miles in their legs tomorrow. That descent off Penycloddiau was new on me, although I missed out on Sally's jump, so will have to go back and try again sometime.

Looks like an excellent turn out there But can someone please tell me WTF is Smithy doing Tarbo, that made me laugh out loud, apparently he was getting his vitamin D, personnally I think he was imagining himself as the lead in the next Timotei advert with his curly locks blowing in the wind.

Maybe it was to make up for the lack of sheep-poo free streams in which to have a proper Timotei moment? ;D
