Decided yesterday afternoon a ride was needed to get ride of the hospital stresses from the week. So as the mrs needed the motor it had to be a route from home.
The route involved riding to Conwy, up conwy mtn and then across the singletrack above Capelulo. From there instead of my usual route to the Roman Road I turned west just before the quarry on Tal y Fan and headed into the mist. Then a different bit for me as I didn't take the route over the stile which drops to the tarmac, I carried on heading west which involved some off piste action and then onto the Roman Road. The RR was surprisingly dry and I took in another 'new' bit which headed between Foel Ganol and Foel Dduarth. From there it was a drop to the Anafon track.
The return leg was a battle as the weather turned and the legs became very heavy
All in all a beasting of a day which was 28 mile with 3850 ft of climbing!!
