Made it 8/8 last night with a trip west of Coed y Brenin. I was hoping my August one was going to be the warmest but hailstones at the start and quite a chilly night put pay to that, but the hip flask kept me warm enough Anyway a great route, felt like I was really 'out there'. I hadn't been round that area for years and its one to go back to even if it were just on fire roads. However I think I do need lessons in how to set a tarp up  A few pics with a video to follow later......

Looking forward to the vid Jeff. Fattie has taken over for you, no sign of the mountain bike anymore!! Funnily enough, I had the map out of that area last night, as I was planning a road spin out of CYB, Aberangell, Llanuchlyn, Barmouth, Harlech. Shock, horror I ended up rolling out of bed and onto the Whyte for a ride on the Marin/ Drum instead!

I'd love to get back out there but its just fire roads with probably some hidden bits around and about. There's some other tracks that look good on the map but need a bit of an explore that could be one? I skirted on the top end of the Tarw trail on the way back too, that Pins and Needles section was a feckin mere on the fat bike Thing is, is there anyone still on this forum.......................?
