Credit where it's due, well done on getting 12 out of 12. Now stop faffing about and get some 'proper' rides sorted

Good effort Jeff, especially on the 12/12.
Did you get lucky with the Sat night shelter or was it prearranged?

Cheers guys. you've got to give it a go. Its a great feeling being on the bike and not knowing where you're going to sleep!! Did you get lucky with the Sat night shelter or was it prearranged? A bit of luck I think to be honest. Someone else had arranged the ride. Everyone was geared up with either a tarp or a tent but the draw of a dry barn with a mass of space for a social was hard to pass on.

A bit of luck I think to be honest. Someone else had arranged the ride. Everyone was geared up with either a tarp or a tent but the draw of a dry barn with a mass of space for a social was hard to pass on. It seemed a bit too much of a coincidence there was a big dry barn with such a big group of you hence I was curious Notwithstanding still a cracking effort on the 12/12. Bike bivvy is something I fancy and would have joined you but couldn't get my head around the packing. When I did the tour of Pen Lleyn it wasn't so bad as the bike had a purpose made bag and I just strapped camping mat and tent to the bag, but packing for a MTB just seemed harder The question is, are you going to keep it going or is it something on the bucket list that you've now ticked off?

The question is, are you going to keep it going or is it something on the bucket list that you've now ticked off? I've got another one planned for January (http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/Winter_Event/), but I'm not religiously going to go out an 'bag' them again because I've been there and done it. I'm thinking down the lines of another Tour in the summer or maybe a few 2-3 overnighters here and there.........
