Went out at the weekend for my first bike bivvy of the year which I was surprised at especially after the 12 I did last year! Met up with a mate near Llyn Alwen with no firm plan on a route. We were both riding Plus bikes. Plus bikes have 3" tyres if you didn't know. He was on a 29+ Travers titanium and I was on test bike #2 No pictures of it on here for now but carbon everything, frame, 27.5+ wheels, bar, stem, you get the idea!! We took in the fire roads with just the odd piece of singletrack to keep the laden bikes on their toes As it had been raining a lot just before we started and as there was no wind, we knew that we'd have to get up high out of the tree's to avoid the midgies. After 22 miles we found a great spot near one of the masts which had a cracking view 360 degrees around us. We both used tarps and it only rained for about 2-3 hours during the night but I was warm and dry. Broke camp at 7:30, rode around Brenig, stopped in the visitor centre just after it opened at 9am for a brekkie and then back on the bikes to bump the mileage up to 25 for the day. All in all a great little microadventure in just under 18 hours from start to finish and 47 miles in the legs also I'll put a link to a video I knocked up as well once its live but here's some pics for now:

Mint vid Jeff, you seem to ride really well with just your Left hand, glad you have found something else to do with it instead of use in it for a posh one
