Whilst loafing around the campsite before the start a lady named Jo Allen came round taking photos. She gave me a card and here is the link to her Dyfi Flickr page: www.flickr.com/photos/hanglebads/sets/72157626631991232/with/5683189832/There's loads of pictures of the whole field passing through Machynlleth at the start. I've already spotted Mark leading out the field at the front . If you find yourself its free to download the picture so take a look.

Top marks have to go to Leona for such a stellar performance considering her time in an MTB's saddle, 230th overall and 4th in her class.

Sorry its take so long to get round to writing something but have been waiting for pics to appear on net & results etc We (Gareth, Karl & myself with our families) all traveled down Friday afternoon and setup camp (Better than the royal wedding!!) Couldn't have asked for a better weekend except for a little wind!!! Was nice to meet Leona on the Saturday afternoon who had been doing a tour of wales lately getting in some crackin rides along the way. Saturday nite was spent in the marquee with all 3 of us drinking fruit juice & High5 in readiness for the following morning Si Moult & Al joined us for a photo before i hastily made off for an early spec at the front of the grid where i was joined by Karl & Dave woody It paid off as i ended up leading the event out of town all the way till it got into the lanes towards the first climb although it was a great sight to look back over my shoulder to see the likes of nick craig riding behind you!!! ;D The only time i will ever lead it anyway!!! Gareth on the ride out Was nice to ride a lot of different decents for a change but the classic fireroad climbs were still there I eventually ended up finishing 60th overall but 8 mins quicker than last year ;D well done to all who competed in what must be one of the best events of the year to do Nice to catchup with Russ, Davydonn & Dave wrexham too Heres my garmin too connect.garmin.com/activity/83082364See you all again next year!!
