Thought you'd of got it Oggy. As you climb up to the gap in the skyline on Tal Y Fan, then drop down the other side towards the roman road, this is on the mound to the left of the gap. Dodgy X marks the spot.

Try and get up there once in the week, but it doesn't always happen. Managed to ride it tonight (Conwy then on to Tal-Y-Fan). Just got back before the light went. Time to get the lights out before long. It's starting to get a bit water logged again in places :-( It'd be good to ride it with you some time. How did your ride go. Did you manage to get ourt for your night ride?

No. I do the same as you. Use the double track to go up and decend over the top of the mountain.
I did see someone on a silver hardtail I think. He wasn't that close when I saw him. He was heading towards Conwy.

Isn't it near a place called Llanuwchyn?? (sp?) Up behind Trefriw? Colwyn Trials club (moto) has used it as a venue for years if it's the same spot. Is it longer than it looks in the pic with inclines that you wouldn't ride down? There used to be a wire fence about 20ft away from the bottom of it? Google earth coordinates are 53 degrees 08'43.37"N 3 degrees 50'10.55"W

It's at a place called Craig Celynin, north west of Rowen. You should see it on the OS maps.
