Today was my birthday so I thought I'd treat myself to a ride and to see if I had my mojo back So Gus and Mat (Pricela) joined me for a great day on the hills. It was a loop formed from piecing several other bits of rides together to make this one. And it had it all, fireroads, singletrack, lots of pushing, lots of carrying and a very technical descent from Siabod down to Capel. I'll post my pics tomorrow cos I'm having a birthday bevvie now. Thanks again to Gus and Mat for letting me share this great route with you

Amazing photos there. We were up Siabod a couple of weeks ago and that descent was slippy enough I fell over a couple of times just walking down! There were a couple of big bogs on the way down which must have been interesting on a bike.
That photo of the rambler at the top is great. He's probably just wishing that he thought of that! ;D

Now I'm even more gutted that I couldn't make it than I was when you posted it up If that ride is not done again on a weekend when I don't have the kids, I'm banning the lot of you Fantastic pictures from the both of you which really capture the epicness of it all. Glad the weather stayed sweet for you. Sandi and myself walked down the same path you came down a while back, and it made me think that you caould ride down it. Looks lke I was right

Great photos. The ride really fired my imagination when I saw it first posted. I would of really like to have added to my only one single ride with people off the forum( many more to come) with this outing. Right down my street/hill. Next time I hope. I only have a couple of weekend a month to meet up.

Well done boys and I'm still a bit miffed that I couldn't make it but the pics help take some of the disappointment away Gus...I only have to look at this picture to understand your feelings on trail centres

Cracking ride. Cheers Jeff for a really good route, the descent from Siabod certainly tested my mettle! I made a fool of myself trying to keep up with some fell-runers The weather was damn good when you think we're nearly into December. Top day out! If anyone's got a spare pair of legs, PM me ;D ;D
