Just joined the forum after seeing the photos posted on the site after yesterdays ride up Hope.
Just want to say a big thank you to everyone who nursed me through my maiden voyage and yes bigoff I did make the party but could not sit down for the obvious reasons!
I will be honest it was the hardest thing I have ever done but will be up for more rides like that soon. And yes Chris, next time I will bring the Garmin!
Thanks again for yesterday to all. Top blokes, top day.

Great pictures lads, recognise some of the ride but not all, looks like you had a great day out. Really must get my act together and join you all soon!

one of the downhills was about a mile of thick clay based mud with a drop on one side into the woods, crazy stuff done at speed, but really good fun with the bike squirming about, we lost Mark down it, after a very long wait Chris and Al started the long trek back up, luckily they met him on his way down pretty quickly. We feared he'd took a wrong turning or worst still.... vanished over the edge.
really loved that ride. great stuff.

Hi all Out on the bike today and have found that the tracks on Caergwrle side of the mountain have been decimated by a tractor and cutter, the tracks where somewhat overgrown but are now 15/20' wide and really chewed up.
The carnage starts from Bryn Yorkin manor and cuts across the hill
New landowner?
