Well whats the thoughts about the cowboy? Cant see it did him any favors at all. Will wait to see the long game which I am sure he has planned out. But an apology to some of the people he tried to destroy would be nice. Interested to see what other people think.

Haven't seen the whole interview yet, just snippets from the news and read about it onbike / triathlon forums. I think the whole thing was stage managed and from what I've seen, he just looks smug. Also, I wonder how much he got paid for the interview

Apparently nothing for the interview. Think he was just laying the groundwork for the future. I would like to just say now, for the record, I have never taken performance enhancing drug. Firstly I think my record speaks for itself. Secondly, Lidl caffeinesports drinks I believe have been approved by the UCI, maybe

Personally, I think he's an absoulute twat!! After watching & admiring him for many years I feel cheated! There was even a post on here somewhere and I defended the bistard, well I now look a pr1ck after that Lets hope he's not put people off from following and taking part in the sport.

Everyone wanted to believe and defend him after the his cancer recovery. What is needed now is a full and frank confession. But he can't. Too much legal stuff. I reckon we will still be here in five years waiting for a true story, maybe we will never get it. Legal system in America is slow. If we do will probably have to buy his book. Would you pay for it if he gets any money?

Now we know the real reason for the interview...he wants to be able to compete again!!!! He's not admitted to anything the USADA hasn't already found him guilty of, he's not admitted that he was instrumental in a whole teams' doping, he forgets to mention he was part-owner of the teams he cycled for! And he's not admitted to anything that's not covered by statute of limitation for perjury. I was a fan. He's a cheat, a liar and a bully. He should keep his lifetime ban

He rode for Discovery who part owns Oprah show This is the worst bit, they broadcast the show on Discovery in the UK, almost as if they are endorsing his behaviour when he rode for them. The man should now be consigned to a footnote in history along with all the other banned riders of the last 20 years.
