I'd like to enter a competition later in the year, maybe August time. As I've never entered such an event I'm not sure what events are suitable for novices.
Does anyone know of such suitable events?

Ahh that looks great, wanted to do MTB event.

Recommend the CRC mtb events, they're usually decent routes and a good craic. I have also enjoyed the Kington Rough Ride and the Isle of Man end-to-end before, both really good fun.
