I had to reinact that scene for the camera, it was something like that though! ;D

A very camp re-enactment it was as well. ;D I won't mention how you demanded sausage butty to stay in the prone position after his off while you got the camera out!

hahaha brilliant pics!! gutted i missed it, looks like you all had a great time. looking forward to the next one, specially if its cowlyd. Elen's revenge was ok but the final downhill is spoiled by the sheer amount of gates you have to stop for

Yeah I did make the rules and I feel guilty for making sausage butty stay on the floor where he landed to get the pic.
After hearing the snapping sound on my bike I wasnt hanging around on the floor, I had to see if my baby was ok ;D

Fantastic ride yesterday, really enjoyed it, cheers boys! ;D It was the first time i'd done a 'proper' off road route away from the trail centres and loved it. The first climb wasn't as bad as what it looked like from the car park at the bottom, still hard though. Once at the top, the riding was more than worth the effort. Weather not too bad (wasn't sunny because bongoslider didn't turn up), poor visibility at first but it cleared up towards the end of the ride and we managed to catch some decent views and look back on the route we had done. The conditions were generally wet and slippy, with boggy patches cropping up every now and again. I found it hard getting a decent grip in some places, which resulted in a few 'mishaps' Martin - what do you mean "first of many offs"? i only had three! ;D Two within the same minute as well The last one hurt a bit, got a few cuts and bruises on my side / arse (got a pic! will post it asap!) and my shoulder is stiff as fook today. Also, i've somehow managed to rip my inner shorts but not the outer Whitedog - don't worry mate, i wasn't stalking you on the way home, i just needed to fill up at the petrol station Nice to meet up with everyone again. Loving the riding banter and the post-ride pint! Well worth the 150 mile round trip.

I did notice you had a hole in your Lycra shorts, please tell me you didnt go into the petrol station wearing them ;D ;D ;D

Don't worry mate, i slipped my dirty shorts back on at the petrol station. Still got a few dodgy looks though ;D The catalogue man socks are still in a muddy mess in my garage with the rest of my gear from Saturday

Just had a great blast up there tonight boyos. ;D Wettest muddiest ride I've ever done but absolutely brilliant. Couldn't see a thing all the way down. Had a first timer out with us as well on his Zaskar, bit of a baptism of fire but he did really well. No offs all the way around. We did the descent of Conwy mtn down the track to the right, bloody tough going as you couldn't see anything but a blanket of leaves and flying mud/water. ;D
