Last Saturday saw the first ever Stwlan Dam Hill Climb organised by the good folk behind The Antur Stiniog DH centre in Blaenau. Now for those of you who are unsure what this involves, let me show you 
The climb is 1.8 miles long and consists of a 889 foot climb from the start point at Tanygrisiau to the finish at the base of the actual dam itself.
So why am I doing a thread on it ? Because it was won, and won quite comfortably by a certain Dan Evans in a time of 9 minutes 41 seconds. The next placed rider came home in a time of 11 minutes 02 seconds, a whole 1 minute 20 after Dan.
Another name familliar to most of you is Dave Bannister, or Blackwidows as he's known on here, who managed to finish in a very respectable time of 15' 22".
The first girl home was Jessica Roberts in a time of 15' 20 Although most of you won't know Jessica, you will all know her Aunty Gwyneth. Obvioulsy Jessica got the family's biking skills (and looks
