Where do people buy it now. Used most all mine recently for a certain project but need a few more bits. Got the last lot here, but they haven't been selling it for a while: www.helitape.co.uk/It seems to be available on e-bay but not sure if its the same stuff. Any recommendations anyone?

Might want to check out this lot as well: www.invisiframe.co.uk/ Not cheap also but it is meant to be stronger than helitape and the kits are made specifically for you bike model. Might be a bit of a faff to fit but it really does protect all the vulnerable parts of the frame. Gareth's had it fitted by the bloke who produces the kits-think it cost him £20-the only problem is it's down Shrewsbury way.

I bought some of this stuff in the end. It seems much thicker and tougher than Heli Tape but time will tell: www.vikingtapes.co.uk/c-169-3m-8671hs-polyurethane-protective-tape.aspx#.UflpkdK1H6dAlready done nearly all of the bike with Heli Tape, so will try this in a few spots I missed and see how it goes. Possibly the same 3M stuff that Tweeks are selling but I got 3 metres of 75mm wide for 25 quid including shipping. Should keep me going for a while.

I used invisiframe which is 3m stuff and prob the same as what Trailrash suggested. When I was at Invisi I was advised helitape goes yellow from the sun whereas the 3m stuff is UV protected so doesn't suffer. Not sure if it's true but mine's covered in 3m stuff

I'd be willing to bet that the Invisiframe stuff is just the cut to shape / marked up version of what I just bought. Seems to work better on gloss paint than matt finish tho.
