Ok, so this happened ages ago but I did promise him I'd upload something to remind him of his first day in The Peaks and make sure that I didn't include the bit where he got to the gate coming down Lantern Pike just before his bike did It's a bit rough around the edges, as with all my lazy edits, quite simply because I get bored when it starts playing up so just wind it up as soon as I can....also features, albeit rather briefly, his mummy Sue, Uncle Simon and yours truly www.pinkbike.com/video/326513/

It was a while ago Andy, I'd forgotten you took the camera out with you! Nice ride for Jake's first time out on natural stuff in the peaks. Looks like you were having trouble keeping up with him downhill None of us will stand a chance after he comes back from the Alps ! Nice day out though, only downer being losing my wallet!

I missed the bits out where you'd bullied him out of the way Si just so you didn't feel bad about it, I'd also forgotten all about you losing your wallet which I still think is a right pisser considering where we were and the fact that you'd imagine people that far up a hill to be halfway decent....my money's still on the scruffy get in a football shirt or failing that the landlord after stubbing his toe on the way back in with the plates

Looks to me you were really struggling to keep up with the little fella Andrew, I must admit i am surprised, hearing that you have ballooned out would surely make you go downhill faster

Still he's bloody shifting and it's not often you see clouds of dust like that in the Peak.
