Replace the pair with an orange gyro 29r Fast enough on xc & goes downhill like a rocket! I think I saw you just going out on it on Saturday Mark as me and junior were finishing off some grub. Did you try the Five 29er as many say that's an even better ride again? It is a tricky thing the wheel size issue as each bike does something better than the other, I don't really see any benefit to the 650b/27.5 range as they do indeed equate to roughly the same as a large volume 26" tire. I think we all know now where 29 fits in and they're benefits, I suppose their only chink in the armour is wheel strength.

Not a chance if i could have more than one bike then i would have a gyro for trail riding etc but as i dont get time to get out further afield to enjoy some quality trails i will stick with the lefty. Any joy on Charlie by the way?

I've also noticed some of the manufactures are ditching the 26 in favour of the 27.5. The Canyon Nerve range for example. Surely these companies see an advantage. I remember reading not too far away 29'ers would never catch on. A passing fad - manufactures trying to push new products to make money. I wonder how many of the original critics have handed over their hard earned ££ to buy one?
