"Kington, Herefordshire The most laidback moorland romp of a mountain bike ride in the UK, stunning views, enthusiastic and capable organisation, great campsite, free post ride meal, a tiny town chock full of real ale pubs"! SOUNDS RIGHT UP MOTOXMANS STREET. Could be an excuse for an MBNW August trip away, I could even be persuaded to camp! www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=1301Rallybiker

I've done this a couple of times and it's absolutely brilliant IMO. Not overly technical, but a good hard XC blast with loads of climbing and great scenery. First time I did it, 8 people got taken to hospital with hypothermia, then last year two people apparently passed out with heatstroke, so I would say take shorts and waterproofs! The local pubs are excellent, defo one to camp over for. www.strava.com/activities/59227895

Did this the year before last.......was held in May and was a scorcher. Year before claimed a fair few with hyperthermia and collarbones as rained then froze during event
Thoroughly enjoyed it - big open moorland views. Big climbs as peeviously mentioned. Good fun and relaxed too
All the best Nick
