Well I'm definitely planning on doing the Snowdon route again before Xmas but the Trefriw loop there looks pretty tasty as well. I am also going to be hammering it over the christmas break, went and rode CYB on Xmas day last year. Nice having the place all to yourself in t he day. ;D Dan have you noticed it goes up to Cowlyd from Trefriw at start . any chanceof a tow ;D I've done it up to Cowlyd from Trefriw quite a while back when i had my Rift Zone. I was probably 2 stone lighter then, fitter and still managed to fall off on the way up. My excuse is that I had just purchased spd's and wasn't used to unclipping them. ;D The climb in the opposite direction from Cowlyd up the tarmac road is enough for me nowadays!

Did the Moel Hebog route today (the top map). Great weather, stunning scenery but overall, a disappointing route. A bit 'Mach 3' ish, lots of cycling on grassy bridleways and fields, and sometimes no obvious path at all. Nothing technically challenging or demanding. Some nice sections of downhill into Cwm Pennant but the ride's a lot of effort. It feels twice as long as it actually is. Nice scenic ride but i won't be in a hurry to do it again.
