Llandegla to Prestatyn 4th July 2015

Big thanks to Russ for leading today's annual epic from Llandegla to Prestatyn. Something like 70km and 1600m of ascent and then the ride home again afterwards for many of us, although mine was the shortest.
All in a great day with good weather and great people and it was good to see Lloydi joining us for the first half back to his house where we all topped up our drinks - thanks again for that
I'm sure photos will come from everyone else so none from me.
Time for a beer!

We topped over previous best despite a few punctures, I put that down to the excellent condition of the Clwyds and the riders of course. Only took a few pics so here they are.

Needless to say, thanks Russ for leading us on this. Even though me and Dave did do the last bit into Prestatyn the wrong way! Really good day out, cracking weather and good company although I could hardly walk last night after the road ride back. God knows what Gareth was feeling like after 105 miles - top effort! Big thanks too to Sharon for doing the shuttle. Here's a few of my photos of the day.

A tough day that was but still a good giggle. Considering what the weather was like on Sunday we picked the right day for doing it.

Thanks all for waiting for me at the start, Russ for route guiding, Karl for refuelling me in Prestatyn and various others for the tow along the coast road at the end and Stapo, I hope your Mrs gets you that colour monitor for Christmas
