2015 Biking Highlights?

OK chaps and chap'esis in keeping with MBNW tradition its time to ask the end of year question:


Its that time of year to look back at what we've achieved biking wise and pick out those 'magic' moments.

So whether its a first ride, the getting your mojo back moment, a magical bike tour, fixing your first puncture or a dirty weekend way, lets hear your highlights from 2015.

There have been some cracking forum rides - Llandegla in the snow in January was a hoot, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Moel Hebog ride - it felt like a real trip into the wilderness (or as near as it gets) - but my highlight of the year had to be Snowdon on the last day of April. I'd walked the route a couple of weeks earlier in glorious sunshine, and no snow. Myself & Mrs.G had planned to do it, but something came up at work, and she couldn't get the day off, so I was on my own on the day - and it had snowed

To try and get this moving here's mine....

I really enjoyed testing a couple of high end bikes for 6 weeks at a time, hopefully more to come in 2016.

Some highlights for me are:

Descending Snowdon on a full suss fat bike before work
A fat bike gathering in Scotland which had 53 bikers turn up!
