I will soon be moving, as the title suggests, from Aberdeenshire to Anglesey. Mainly to be closer to family as my Mrs is from Trefor near Pwllheli.
I currently ride a bit up here and have been racing in the POC Scottish Enduro Series.....I say racing, more just getting around in as close to one piece as possible! Do many people here race in the Welsh Gravity Enduro Series? I'm also in training for this years Megavalanche, so if anyone has done it and has any tips I'd be ever grateful!
I will be moving down at the end of the month and would be really keen to join in on as many of the rides as possible and get to know some fellow riders.
I've also just moved to Anglesey. I've not done the Welsh Gravity Endure Series, but could be tempted in the future - too much other stuff going on this year unfortunately. Sounds like we're possibly into similar sorts of riding, although at the moment I've just been getting out on the road bike since it's easier to fit in around other stuff.
I've only ridden the trail centres around here, but if you fancy some company exploring some new trails, or if you do any road riding then give me a shout.
Very true. There are a lot of good trail centres not too far from Anglesey and one small fun park type thing in Anglesey itself. There is a lot of riding to be done in Snowdonia too. Of all the years I lived in Gwynedd previously I've never ridden Snowdon....which I intend on doing a few times this summer all being well! My time was taken up by surfing!!
