Ok, great website and the name says it all but (and I hope you moderators don't take offence ) but... Recently I've been talking to people about the website (or directing them to it) and I find that saying the Mountain Biking North Wales website is a bit of a mouthful . Even MBNW doesn't roll off the tongue too easy . Is there an easier brand name for the website? North Wales Mountain Biking seems easier to say I can't think of an easy acronym either!

Its a fair point and i know where you are coming from as i had trouble getting the name across to some one i met on the trail today. It is unlikely that we will change it tho as everything has been set up with the name mbnw (posters, google searches etc etc). To change it would require a lot of messing about and could undo a lot of the hard work that has gone in to getting mbnw where it is. I will have a chat with the other Martin and Nick and see what there views are on it

You right, there is nothing wrong with the name--I think it's spot on! And, ok, MBNW isn't that hard to say, but it just doesn't roll off my tongue that easy . Perhaps it is just me and I'm developing a speech impediment ;D Perhaps I should practice saying it a few times a day ;D ;D The point I'm trying to make is this: when talking to people about the MBNW forum do you abbreviate it some how? In my house my wife calls it the "bloody forum", (e.g., "Are you on that bloody forum, again!"). Possibilities might be the "North Wales Forum", "The Forum". It might give the forum its own identity. Maybe I've spent too long in academia and I sould get out more! ps what does MBNA stand for again ?

MBNW is better than the Welsh version of it, Cymru Gogledd Beic Mynydd, CGBM. You've translated it as 'Wales North Bike Mountain'. It should read 'Beicio Mynydd Gogledd Cymru'. BMGC. Which also stands for Bloody Mouthful, Gone Cycling ;D
