I'm with Dan here Llandegla is ok but for me it feels more like a cross between a good bmx park and a quick blast. I prefer the mast add on. The loose rock and intresting return on the railway sleepers are cool. I think its not a bad thing that a bit of erosion is happning at llandegla it will make it more challanging. Give me the final desent at Climax any day. I come home from Ceinws after a blast with the biggest grin in the world.

some areas hav become badly eroded although it does nt help when tillhill carry out tree harvesting then drive across trails/singletrack destroying them . they dont even bother to repair the damage just hope the amount people riding around there will eventually flatten the damage. This pisses me off as they just take it for granted that people will keep coming there regardless what condition the trails are in and keep shilling out the car park fees. Rant over now,see you all up there tomoro night.

Give the black runs a year or two without maintenance and they may even warrant their black status.

Llandegla is great for a fast blast around once a month but once you've done it a few times there's nothing to test you (to prove this point even my mrs can ride around it ) I like it because it's nice and fast. You can always try going faster to make it more interesting but that's when you tend to crash into trees ;D It would be good if they added a few more difficult bits - like extra black routes that run parallel to the red similar to the jumps at the top, but a bit longer (or when the red gets completely trashed make that a black detour and build a new red )

Like a fookin trial section all the way down those rocks isn't it. ;D

yea i agree with dan williat9 & doug . the marin was way better a few months ago too, before they dumped all that sate waste and smoothed it out.

I haven't been on the Marin for quite a while now gar, I'll have to pop out there soon to see what the smooth Marin is like now.
Haven't been to Llandegla since our forum ride in September (I think). I thought it was very smooth back then, even the black sections. But I guess its very popular up there and can get eroded very quickly.

But I guess its very popular up there and can get eroded very quickly. The black did deteriorate quite quickly towards the end of last year, but we did have a half decent October-December (only a bit of snow!) so people who had been practicing the red all year probably started riding on the black - like me!
