It's definately on now  Three of us will be going down to CYB to do The MBR Trail on Sunday 20th July. We're starting off early, hopefully leaving home at 0600 ish so we can get to CYB for approx. 0800. Anyone is welcome to join us if you fancy it. If you do decide to join us then we'll certainly be together at the start but will most probably not be together at the end for a number of reasons - 1. We're not the fittest riders in the world, not too bad on the downhill, slow on the uphill! 2. We stop a lot to take photos 3. We stop a lot to talk s**t 4. We stop a lot to take in the scenery 5. We stop a lot to crack open the flask of nice coffee 6. We stop a lot to discuss how good the last downhill was Basically, we stop a lot! |

Gutted, I can't join you mate, I'm on duty on Sat the 19th wont finish until the Sunday morning. Will get out with you at some point.

What a day!
Had a fabulous time. MBR was VERY technical, most technical trail i've ever ridden. Really tested me to the full
Thanks to ftasb for organising a great day out and for lettting me tag along

I did this today as well but in the afternoon. 8am on a sunday morning is a bit early for me The majority of the routes at CYB ar quite technical; I have pedals with flats on one side and SPD's on the other, I didn't clip into the spd at all!! ;D Nearly came off a few times too. There was quite a few people there, I think there was a demo day on as well. I'll join up with you for the next one on the Marin in August. |
