I thought the pace was ok, with everyone of a similar ability, what do you reckon Sikora & Xybadog? The pace was spot on. Was nice to stop like we did after every technical section to swap stories of how we amost headed off the side of the trail, as well as not being the only one checking if i'd lost a lung after a killer climb

I'm a bit gutted I couldn't make it over. Rides arranged early on a Sunday going at a relaxed pace will suit me down to a T.

Yeh, the pace was fine. It was the actual Rock-gardens that got me though. I need to get some instruction on how to ride them. My face must have been a picture of terror going over them!!!

Most of the time, the quicker you go the better!
If you take it too slow a rock will jump out and send you over the handlebars.

Try and look ahead and pick the best line, rather than directly infront of your wheel - although this can be easier said than done at times.

Didn't know I was supposed to look anywhere...I had my eyes closed. Maybe try it with them open next time
