After grafting in the garden yesterday I decided to get out for a ride up at Bethesda where the other half lives, I always look out of the window there and want to get up there for a spin and see whats on offer. This is where I was off to, and beyond! I knew how to get up there but didn't know where I was going once there. I had a map and had a small route of about an hour mapped out. After i got up there I headed towards the hill in the distance, round it and down the other side. Kind of made it up as I went along with the help of the odd sheep track This was a view of the mouth of the Menai straits, Bangor, & you can just make out Bangor pier And the other way, looking out towards Puffin Island. so some nice views to be had. Like I say I went up there to have a look to see what was on offer a bit further up in the mountains and over towards the back of Aber falls, plenty of scope for an all dayer. Token bike pic at the end! ;D Oh and I fell off by the way, Right over the bars, its the sheep, they comb the grass over these little ruts with little streams in them, they think its funny to watch people like me find them at 25mph! No injuries for the warwounds section though.
