Just checked and you can use Google webmaster tools, you can enter the meta tag there and will then see detailed statistics and errors for the site, its all free.

Second one down Oggy, by using that one you can add the meta tag data otherwise it wont recognise the keywords, i think thats how it works

Site doesn't appear for a specific keyword We do not manually assign keywords to sites, nor can webmasters submit a list of preferred keywords for which their sites will appear. The best way to ensure that your site returns for your preferred keywords is to include them on your pages. Our crawler analyzes the content of webpages in our index to determine the search queries for which they're most relevant. If you create an information-rich site that clearly and accurately describes your topic, it'll likely return for your desired keywords. Keep in mind that your site may be returning for your preferred keywords but may not appear in the first few pages of results. To determine if this is the case, search for your site using our site operator along with a keyword, like this: [ site:Google.com doodle ]. This search returns the following results: www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3AGoogle.com+doodleIn general, webmasters can improve the rank of their sites by increasing the number of high-quality sites that link to their pages. You can learn more about how Google ranks pages at www.google.com/corporate/tech.html. Also, we always recommend reviewing our guidelines for creating and maintaining a Google-friendly website

I've just "Googled" the acronym "MBNW" and selected "pages from the UK" and this site came up on top The HTML Surce code definitely needs some Keywords adding. Also, words/phrases such as MBNW, North Wales Mountain Biking etc need to be used more on page content, threads etc. By adding the keywords to each and every page the crawlers will still recognise them as they prioritise the Keywords when searching, then search other content in the coding.

Righto, i've just added a robots.txt, urllist.txt and generated a sitemap and stuck them all in the root directory. Just got to wait for the robots to pick them up next time they go trawling.
I'll have a look at the meta tags tomorrow.

I found it on page 14 of a google search. Just had another look and the site is number 6 - I think it takes a bit of time and the website needs whoring a bit on other webpages to get the ranking up.
