There is a "North Wales Bike Ride" on the 10th of May in Rhyl in aid of the British Heart Foundtion (see link), although mainly cycle track and country road I will be using the mtb. www.bhf.org.uk/northwalesI've registered to do the 30mile loop with a group from work (names to be confirmed). If anyone else would like to join us they are more than welcome or if they would like to just enter themselves, then great. Anyone who is feeling charitable and would like to make a donation then please follow the link below: www.justgiving.com/mondimoldThanks in advance for your support Phil

Do you know if you can turn up on the day, pay your tenner and ride? Or do you have to get sponsorship and pay your tenner?

The road one is at the end of June I think but I doubt you'll get a place now as it's usually full by the end of March. It's an experience though, you have to dive through on corners to overtake anyone, emergency stops every 10 minutes for something and fights with London buses.... Off road one: www.bhf.org.uk/get_involved/take_part_in_our_events/event_finder/view_event.aspx?ps=1000465 For some reason it's 75 miles (road ride is only 55) and you need £100 in sponsorship.
