Just had a thought ;D how about making a scrolling news panel on the main website? the ideal spot would be where the forum information is. Just so you know what i mean www.appletcollection.com/

I like the sound of that but what info would you want in it? Ditch the news page and put it all in there? Bear in mind we don't want to be updating this with tittle-tattle on a daily basis Also, the news scroller in your first link costs £20.

You could steal the news panel from the top of the forum page (the one that fades in and out ;D)

Butty Boy, ;D No dont ditch the news page, by clicking on the scrolling news would then forward people to the relevant important news information in the news page plus clicking on it for the forum rides would then forward people to the ride detail etc especially new members...i hope you see where im coming from if there is no need for it no worries its an idea i thought might be useful As for my link that was demonstration only its java controlled so theres loads of freeware to do it www.mioplanet.com/rsc/newsticker_javascript.htm
