Awesome event that, bloody great fun. Constant fireroad climbs in between gnarly, rocky DH sections. Can't believe someone came in at 1hr50mins though, pretty soul destroying for the rest of us if that's the case. Nick Craig no doubt took the win? ? Amazed that Just, Oggy, Ady, John and I all managed to get around without a puncture between us, bloody lucky I think. Don't I just look like I'm having great fun in that picture?! ;D

Dan i saw worse looks than that during the day ;D I'd have given you a smile if I'd have known it was you mate, lots of peeps out on the course with cameras today. Doug has the look of a man regretting his choice of DH tyres for an XC marathon! ;D

Some cracking photos there Rob - I don't even remember passing you on the course!! Sorry if I didn't say anything. I can't believe the problems I got around there today, chain snapped twice, got so stuck once I had to break it to get it loose, couple of punctures and an off on that decent straight after the feeding station. Never usually get punctures! ;D Still an amazing event, descents were superb and everybody was friendly to chat to. Remembered after my off the Marshall telling me to take my time down the descent from the feeding station (the one after you climbed back up to the station having been at the station before) as someone had come off badly and the helicopter was on it's way! About 10mins later I hear it passing over me, hope it wasn't too serious although I didn't see anything.

Nice 1 Rob your a star mate, how long was your lense? I was in a world of pain when I saw you Well done to everyone who completed the Dyfi today that was one tough event, hill after hill and then some more hills, i thought i was going to chuck up towards the end. Some of the downhills were really cut up and I was sliding every where on my little XC bike, top fun tho. Really well organized event, enjoyed the band and the cheer leaders at the side of the track we even got a mug at the end so everyone is a winner ;D Looking forward to the results being published some one said there about 780 riders Off to collapse in the bath, looking forward to not being able to walk in the morning
