I changed my Juicy 7's for Hopes front and rear, Oggy did the same. My juicy's were shocking, I found that the only way to stop the rubbing was by doing it by eye rather than loosening the caliper and using the break. There was no way i was going to keep doing that, I would have probably taken a hammer to them at some point!
The whole reason I go with hope is because everything on the whole system can be bought and replaced and they are so easy to set up and maintain. I have put a mono mini with a 160mm rotor on the rear and a mini M4 with 185mm rotor on the front. You will be ok with a mono mini on the front but go with a bigger rotor for the stopping power and the heat dispersion.

Thanks Martin - thinking of Hope Mini or Hayes Nine. Any other views anyone?

In my opinon its hope all the way, they have been around for years and the quality on them beats any other brake out there. Hope are worth every penny and will last you years.
Incase you hadnt guessed I like hope ;D

Also seen a few good reviews and had a chat with someone on the Merida at Penrith who recommended the Formula Oros. Any views please?

So I've ordered Hopes, front and rear - just waiting for them to turn up now. I've gone for Mono Mini 2s with braided hoses and the floating disks. 160mm disks front and rear. I read up on the disk size for my front forks (Pace RC39s) and the manufacturers recommend 160mm disks - it says 185mm will fit, but aren't recommended due to the stress on the fork. Hmmm.
Will report back when they're fitted - I have a ride planned at Llandegla for 15th October so I'm hoping they'll be on the bike by then.
