I must be reading the wrong book ;D You're books have words in them rather than just pictures?? I'll have to get me one of them!! They may as well have just pics in them for all the help they have been. Ive read so much crap now that im totally confused on what to do. Ive got a HR monitor but carnt seem to stay in zones and ive read so much confusing stuff now that i dont know what the hell i should be doing. I was getting loads of riding in but have been ill the last couple of weeks, just got back in the gym after 2 weeks off but dont know what the hell i should be concentrating on at the moment. I did a 50km road ride on monday night, did all over weight work out yesterday, did some hill intervels and a run tonight, probably go down the gym tommorow night and pick my nose for a bit not sure if any of it is having a benifit. Tempted to sack it, drink beer, smoke gay boys and buy a downhill bike ;D

Oggy,
I can help you a bit, couple of questions - what's your maximum heart rate&age? and what's your resting heart rate?
Resting HR you should take every day, record it before you get out of bed in the morning. After measuring it for a few days/weeks you will know what it should be so if it's elevated from the average, either you are coming down with an illness or you have not recovered from the previous days training and as such should take it easy with a recovery ride or take the day off.
Maximum HR - let me know this and your age and I'll work out some Zones to get you started.

Does it, I've bulked up a treat and I'm up to date with MBR, Wmb, & MBUK ;D As jlr59 has caught me out, I may as well come clean. I also have chips on a friday, chinese on a saturaday and an Indian with extra beer on a sunday. All of this hasn't made me any slower at all, I can still get to the fridge in 8.7 seconds ;D
