I am very pleased to announce that MBNW has combined forces with North Wales newest and fastest growing Bike Shop Tweeks Cycles. We at MBNW have chosen to join forces with Tweeks Cycles after the exceptional service and support we have received off them since they opened a short while ago. Tweeks will be on hand to help MBNW and MBNW members where ever they can, MBNW members are entitled to a 10% discount on most items* in store and over the phone you will also be informed of other special offers in the future. Tweeks offers full workshop facility’s at very reasonable rates, no matter how big or small the job is Tweeks will be making MBNW members bikes priority so you guys are off your bikes for the least time possible. When visiting the store please make it known you are from MBNW so you can receive your discount. As well as being a bike shop Tweeks is a great place to drop in for a chat about anything bike related or any bike issues you are having, Tom, Martin, Chris and Marr and the rest of the Tweeks staff are always on hand and are more than happy to shoot the breeze. Tweeks are recruiting new brands every day and the shop is now packed out with goodies and has a great clothing range to try on in store. If there is somthing that you dont see in store then just ask and they will do there very best to get it for you. In the future MBNW and Tweeks cycles are hoping to bring many more benefits to MBNW members so watch this space. Cheers The MBNW Team and Tweeks Cycles www.tweekscycles.com/CycleShop/Cycle/891*Ask for details

Looks like this is going to be the place to go for all our biking needs. I know that on the motorsport front they can't be faulted on their customer care and product stock. It's just a case of moving their focus and professionalism into a new field, as they are doing and excelling at it! The future's looking rosy!!

I have found tweeks to be excellent, so will definetly be using the 10% discount cheers Oggy. I dropped my bike off for a service today, and chatting to the lad behind the counter, I mentioned the forum discount. His reply was "oh yeah, no problem.. you must know Damon then right?" ;D ;D

I have been in the bike shop for various bits and bobs and got the discount but also had cambelt and 60,000 mile service done with them yesterday at a great price and ordered a set of wheels for the car for a price i couldnt beat anywhere on the internet so they really have sorted their prices in all departments of late, extremely happy with them at the mo. When i asked for discount last time tom asked me, "do you know the discount code" cheeky cnut testing me, obviously havnt spend as much as damon yet ;D

This "discount" appears to be just to lure you into their store.
I bought a kids bike there the other day, and while the guys were really helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us, would not honour this 10% discount and would only knock £15 off a £250 bike.
Have I missed something in the wording "MBNW members are entitled to a 10% discount in store and over the phone"?

Does seem strange - they honoured it when I went there with my bro and he bought a bike £350 ish.

Cheers Craig, problem was the lad had seen, tried and fallen for the bike so we ended up buying it anyway. If Tweeks are getting all this (presumably free) promotion on the home page and the top of this page etc, then they should honour the agreement we have with them re. the discount. Most bike shops will give a 10% discount on a bike anyway, so what value do we get from promoting Tweeks on this site?
