Sounds good but I can't go unfortunately, but is there a website with details?
Entry costs etc?

They usually like you to collect £20; but if you wave £ notes under their noses and look determined; they usually let you ride. Two of us rode for £15 between us (all we had)

I may appear in the morning, see how I feel when i get up. If I dont manage to ride, I might pop out with the camera and get some pics.
Havnt done it for a couple of years so it would be nice to get out for a gentle push up the hills and ride down the other side

Thanks to Mark for the encouragement to do this event. It is amazing what happens to you when you put a number on the front of the bike and you know the clock is ticking. I'll get the Garmin data done later, but what a route, killer climbs and great descents. Thanks to the guys for the encouragement ;D

Glad everyone got round ok with no injury as there were a few narly spots! Bad luck to gareth with his puncture which was a rip in the sidewall. Well done to paul, matt + damon to for coming out today too support the air ambulance. (Just hope we never need to use it!) The event was very well run + organised for such a small group. Well arrowed + marshalled in most cases, A little gem of an event tucked away in the hills. I will be back there next year to beat my 2hr 11m time. Excellent food at the end too which was included with the entry. Roll on the next event.

I do enjoy this event, and glad i went out there to do it again. Perhaps not my best idea to go out playing after not riding the bike for a few months but at least ive done my bit for Air Ambulance! Jelly bean fueled and could have done with walking boots for the amount of pushing I did, and didnt appreciate the cramp in the thighs after 11 miles when I hit the 'wall'. Glad to finish though. Good to meet up with the others, but there wasnt a hope in hell that I would have kept up with any of them (unless I had an engine) Bontrager tyres were working well and didnt get a puncture!! haha
Cheers Paul

Well done all of you that took part, and good to see PaulEds out and about Not one of my brightest ideas though Chris so the bike has been washed and parked up again. Hopefully will have some answers and get sorted out properly soon. Im not bothering with my Garmin data, just add an hour onto Marks time! ;D
