Monster came of his bike today in Penmachno doing loop 2 on his own and hit his head hard!! been to maelor for a check up and they say he is as normal as normal can be so no permanent damage just concussion!! Just wanted to say a big big thank you to the four blokes who stopped when they saw him dazed and confused, checked him over and then took him back down to the car park and waited with him until i arrived unlike the two guys who ignored him when they passed him even he told them he had concussion once again big thanks to those 4 blokes who ever you are!!

hope Monsters ok -concussion is a weird thing and more dangerous than you think-you did right taking him for a check up. the perils of riding alone

Keep ya eye on him for a week at least, as Sally said it can be very strange. Wish him all the best and I'm sure it won't slow him down one bit!

Hope you're feeling better Monster....think the two who left you are the minority as 9 times out of 10 you'll always get folk asking if you're alright if they see you off the bike. Take care matey

thank you all for your kind words that was the scariest experience i have ever had. i just remember coming round and found myself riding a bike in a place i didnt recognize, i didnt even know what day it was. i took a few minutes to check myself over and noticed i had a bump on my head and the helmet was wrecked.. god only knows what i did wrong to come off or where it exactly happened. i remember pushing the bike in opposite direction so that i might meet somebody coming my way. by this time my memory was slowly coming back and i knew that i was at penmachno loop 2 (somewhere). 20 min must of passed when 2 riders came towards me at some speed, i was so happy to see somebody. i told them that i had come off and had concussion and felt faint, but to my surprise they just carried on. i was so shocked i couldn't believe it.. luckily about 10min later 4 riders came along and they were so helpful. they checked me over and decided to guide me back to the start. i cant thank these guys enough, and i know most riders would of done the same ive still got the headache even today, and if there is only one thing that ive learned from this is- never go flat out when your by yourself..
