Would love too, only have two weeks booked in Jan 2011. first week with the boys at the beginning, second week with the family at the end, both Italy.Life`s shit in it :-))))))

Looking through the various websites/brochures, and my gut feeling is to wait for the season to start, see what the snow like in season, and grab a late deal. Probably Italy, as it's looking cheaper than France/Austria/Switzerland. Dates, outside half term26 Feb/ 6 Mar.See if I can twist Oggy or Tinytims limbs to get out on some "proper" blacks! Not long ! it`s already started, mens slalom was on this weekend in Austria, i have ten weeks to wait before i hit the slopes, roll on ten weeks ;-))

Looked at web cams of various resorts today. Italy has had a good fall and the Italian French borders. ;D None at Morzine.  Booked my break at Courmayeur; partner does downhill; myself being too old to downhill (did take lessons; nearly flattened the every body)  Now cross country ski; more gentle and I can stop!!!!

I `m off to the Dolomites, ARRABBA it has miles of runs, if you want you can ski all day without going on the same lift, great value for money, and a good transfer time, i can highly recommend the place, only down side is the night life, everything shuts down very early, but if like me you just want to ski fisrt lift up last run down, it has it all.
sorry for the late reply, shift working is no good for social life.

Looks as if the travel operators have again been stung by the lack of demand, and are just dumping the holiday prices just to get bums on seats. Yip cheap as chips, I`m all packed and fly at 06.30 in the morning, had my last darkside ride this morning up to the horseshoe pass and back, hopefully legs will last the week. Have to try and get on a forum ride this year if my shifts allow.
