I would like to welcome a new member of the mbnw admin team. Its no other than Mr Tarbo Im sure old Turdo doesn't need any introducing as most of you will know him or at least fallen victim to his camera at some point Tarbo will be helping out around the place and will be ensuring that mbnw moves forward in the right direction. He has already worked very hard to get our CTC affiliation sorted out amoungest other things and I'm sure he has plenty more ideas up his sleeve. Big thanks go to Chris (Tarbo) for all his efforts so far and I'm sure that MBNW can only go from strength to strength with him involved If anyone else would like to get involved with the running of MBNW or has any ideas then please dont hesitate to get in contact with either me or Tarbo Cheers

As a bit of an aside I just wanted to say thanks to Oggy, Dan etc for running the site and all people who have kindly given me advice. Being on this site has been invaluable for me in learning the ropes, gaining advice, riding great routes that I wouldnt have otherwise and meeting good people. I have been involved in organising voluntary things in the past and I know that often you put a lot of time in and people sometimes only get in touch to complain.
So thanks again and keep up the good works, it is appreciated. Sure Chris enthusiasm will only serve to bolster the experience.

Good appointment there, sure he will excel in the new role.
Although I would expect a more serious approach and a little less p1sstaking now please Tarbo ;-)

Fancy putting a scouser in charge , we'll all be out on strike by Christmas. He's not going to take kindly to a remark like that Andy Welsh through and through is our Tarbo.....even speaks the lingo

I just want to say thank you to you all for your words of encouragement and support I must admit to being a little surprised when Oggy told asked me to become an administrator on the site. I was a bit undecided at first, but I thought I had better accept his offer as we don’t want the site to be solely run by a bunch of Gnarly Dudes who run big DH rigs on rad runs (whatever that means ). So to even the balance of power, there is now an oldie who enjoys social riding and also tries his hand at enduros, thinking he’s in his twenties again ;D However, first and foremost, I would like to express my thanks to Dan, (who’s departure has opened up this opportunity for me,) for all the time and effort he has put into helping to run this forum for the last 18 months. I’d also like to thank him for his support in me taking on this role. Although we may not read much from him in the future, I’m sure we’ll read a lot about him as he concentrates on his racing, and continues to go from strength to strength. I’d also like to take this opportunity to wish him all the luck in the future. I have been involved in organising voluntary things in the past and I know that often you put a lot of time in and people sometimes only get in touch to complain. So thanks again and keep up the good works, it is appreciated. Sure Chris enthusiasm will only serve to bolster the experience. Cheers Nicks, but to be honest, the running of this site is the easy part. Most of what the admin do is tidy the forums up, deleting old posts and general housekeeping. The real unsung heroes of this site are the members that post on it, for without them, this site would not be the success it is. There are a lot of people who go to the trouble of going out and exploring routes, putting the hours to find new routes etc, and then posting them up for us all to enjoy. Without these people the site would be full of keyboard warriors who do not do any riding, but just talk about it. These people are the real reason this site is such a success. Fancy putting a scouser in charge , we'll all be out on strike by Christmas. Scouser I’m sure there’s a facility to ban people on here somewhere
