I agree with tarbo here Quote "However, first and foremost, I would like to express my thanks to Dan, (who’s departure has opened up this opportunity for me,) for all the time and effort he has put into helping to run this forum for the last 18 months. I’d also like to thank him for his support in me taking on this role. Although we may not read much from him in the future, I’m sure we’ll read a lot about him as he concentrates on his racing, and continues to go from strength to strength. I’d also like to take this opportunity to wish him all the luck in the future."
I've got to agree and Thank Dan for the work he has put into the Forum . He may not be everyone's cup of tea , his comments sometimes made me laugh and cringe all in one sentance . But he was always passionate about wanting people to get their best from the sport . He's helped me personally on set up and riding technigue on many occasions . But when you look at what he has achieved on the road this year it's no wonder he's concentrating on this aspect of biking and with a winter of specific training I look forward to what he will achieve next year . So Dan please don't forget where we are and keep us posted . Thanks and all the best for next years racing .

And I for one welcome our new forum overlord. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted forum personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.
Seriously, thanks Dan for all his hard work and Chris for stepping up, as a Admin on another forum, I know how it can be hard work sometimes doing a balancing act and trying to keep everyone happy, thinking up new ideas and keeping on top of all the background stuff.
Keep up all the funny write ups, there's been some right gems so far.

Eh up Chris, its nice to see someone from Flint reach the higher echelons!!! Cheers for your text the other day, lifes been a bit hectic for the past few weeks since Heidi arrived (another friggin Welshy, wish the missus had accepted my kind offer to go to Chester for the day ). Reckon my biking will be on the back burner for the next couple of months, but with winter here I'm not too worried. Should be well and truly back in the sadddle by Spring, so hope to see you on the trails then, if not before (in the pub, for example!!!)

Cheers Keith. And for all of those that didn't know Mrs Campbell had a lovely baby girl (Heidi), a couple of weeks ago. So expect to see Campbell's bike in the 'For Sale' section soon ;D Also as we're on the subject of new arrivals, Al and his wife have also had a baby girl, Morgan, but I can't see Al selling his bike ;D I'd like to offer my congratulations to both the Campbells and the Oldfields, who probably won't be reading this as they will no doubt be fast asleep after another tiring day ;D Must be something in the canteen at their place of work Let us know when you intend to wet the baby's head
