I missed my weigh-in this week.....had a stinking cold and felt like crap.
Feeling better now but I have to hold my hand up and admit to having a chunky kitkat from the buttie van at lunch time......tasted nice but now I feel guilty.
The dog's in for a LONG walk tonight!!

I'm led to believe that almost everyone will hit a stage where the amount of fat being lost is equalled or surpassed by the amount of muscle being built....thus a situation where a loss of bulk but a gain in weight is entirely plausable.......HONEST GUV!!! You could always take some vital stats (ooh-er) and compare them over a period of time, chest, waist, thighs etc to test this theory My attempts at weight loss are usually thwarted by my love for food and beer, lets see how long the will-power can hold out! Just remember 1lb of body fat = 3,500 calories so without a calorie deficit of that much you won't lose anything

Checked this morning and I'm 14st 6lbs :-) I've passed the half a stone mark and according to freedi's figures burned off the equivalent of 28,000 calories.....or 100 Mars bars!!!

Is the fat fighters club still running? It seems to have gone very quiet. Just to throw my tuppence worth in...13lbs down since Jan16th and can now get in a pair of cycling shorts I've not worn for over a year . Now for the celebratory donut!!!

Excellent work! wish I could say the same I have yoyo'd from 13st 11lb down to 13st 4lb then last month I was never off the bike, rode 15 days out of 20 and cut the beer down by half and I put 5lb back ON!!! I'm currently on day 14 in the North Sea detox clinic and due home tomorrow, I've gone down a notch on my toolbelt so keeping my fingers crossed for my big weigh in Thursday morning.

Still it's a battle i'm going to win!! That's a battle I've never been able to win, short of eating blocks of lard anything more than 10.5st seems to be impossible. I'm sure it'll come back to bite me one day.

I am currrently 12st 3 lbs, would like to get down to 11.5st, dropped from 12.5 st with the road bike and not snacking on sugars during the week, the trouble with alcaholic bererages is that it impairs performance so you dont get metabalism high enough to burn that flab.
