Message to admin: Can we add Russ on the poll without buggering the voting up? I'm unable to modify it. If we're unable to do this then you can vote for Russ by pressing the red button on your tv remote or by posting his name on this thread.
Message to Russ: I hope to god that wasn't taken outside a school or you would've been arrested for sure ;D

Pic was taken outside Delamere Station so I think no children or small animals were hurt during the process. It's how I know it's time to get my hair cut when it starts poking out the top of the helmet vents.

Come on everyone - Arnie's done a fantastic job of keeping this thread going. We need more votes before the crowning of the King or Queen Helmet Head 2009. [shadow=red,left,300][/shadow]

Nice helm Damon. The first of what I hope will be many for 2010. Have you considered wearing a full face and experimenting with helm beard designs? It'd make for completely pointless and amusing research.
Well what a year 2009 was for the helmet head. Good to see so much interest and many submissions, despite the turn-out at the polls being low. Some entries were pant-wettingly good and fair play to all for sharing their hair misfortunes for the amusement of us all.
Williat9 (Tony) was the clear and worthy winner and crowned Helmet Head Champ of 2009. He collected his prize of a special commemorative glass containing a lovely Stella sauce in the winner's ceremony held in The Glyntwrog, Llanrug last night. Tony entertained us all with epic tales of helmet adventure and the glasses were filled several times over during the course of the ceremony. Well done mate!
Second place was Al, who undoubtedly had one of the best helmet creations I've ever seen. Congratulations on your achievement Al.
Joint-third place saw Davydonn and Father Hugzee with some excellent helmet work on display. Well done lads!
I hope 2010 will see another year of fine specimens dotted around our trails and countryside.
So all that remains for me to say is 'Up yours Nicky Clarke!' ...charge your helmets and let's get to work!!'

There's been a lot of riding going on this year with the forum going from strength to strength, which is good to see. Despite all this riding, however, there's been a distinct lack of helmet hair action going on. Now i don't know if everyone thinks they're too cool for school in 2010 but i'm not having any of it! We need public humiliation and spectacular hair crimes and we want them now!! and so with no regard to my own dignity i'm getting the ball rolling again.... Here's the first in the semi-baldy category with a lovely embossed helmet design. Good work Scans! The first member to correctly guess the make & model of the helmet responsible for this creation will receive approximately 400 quality VHS titles as well as a table and chair made from VHS tapes. Good luck!

No idea of the make of helmet, but liking the eye make up Or is it some sort of tribal tattoo ;D
