Did you not have a couple of spokey dokes Chris? That would have patched it up a good 'un ;D
I take it you weren't injured as a result? Was that on the new bike? Lucky you weren't at the far end of the trail!!!

Another dry day on the trail for you guys Sorry to see that about your wheel Chris , I think I'd have been in tears ...maybe you were So, did it just collapse or have you hit something as it's not exactly confidence inspiring for your next ride is it As long as everyone got back safe I guess that's the main thing and I hope to be out and about again soon

Weather was ideal and it was looking like a good day but in the end we only did loop1. I think yesterday took its toll on a couple of us.
Notwithstanding it was a good ride and a quality trail that can bite.
Hope the wheel gets sorted with no hassle and they don't send you another one designed by a Chinaman!!

As ever, Penmachno never fails to surprise me how mentally tough it can be. Hope Tarbo's not too sore but that was bloody spectacular from 20m behind .......All I saw was his bike explode upwards and catapult him headfirst down the trail, he did several totally impressive stuntman rolls narrowly missing a pile of logs...... Bravo, 10/10 for dismount Tree stump 1-0 Orange5 And all you nature lovers can rest assured that the 12" tree stump that got T-boned was not harmed during the performance. Hope you not too sore tomorrow Tarbo coz it looked well nasty from behind, could of been much worse, you have the reactions of a cat matey I'm sure Hope will look after you. It's a pity Oggy wasn't with us, I'm sure he could of trued that up ;P

Glad you got back okay Chris and it was only the rim thats fooked, could of been sooooo much worse if not for your athletic skills I think it was a 1 in a million impact as it hit the valve hole perfectly which is the weakest part, I have to say have never seen a Flow explode like that Apart from Tarbos off had a great ride although I was still spanked from yesterday, really enjoyed my first Penmachno experience and will be going back to do the lot sometime soon. Nice to meet John and good to see Gareth back out after yesterdays punishment eager for more, Gwyn is well and truly back on the road to recovery and making light work of the climbs. Ady made a surprise appearance and was on form today, I still cant believe how quick Iggy is on his new ride he was flying on the downs. Great morning and catch you all soon
