Yes that would be great if you could email them to me rob and ill get them up on the forum, my email is bigbassman_773@hotmail.com. Thanks
I know where people are coming from about there being no real need for trail centres and penmachno is great for the feel of being in the wilds, but one positive thing about trail centers is that the trails are maintained a lot better if a center is present. Perhaps if the marins had a centre then the trail wouldnt have got in to the bad state that its in.
Another point is that if Penmachno gets a center then it will be a lot busier and the quietness and remotes is one of the best things about the place. I hardly ever see anyone on the trail there apart from at the carpark and it does feel nice and relaxing because of this.

I've sent you the maps.
Penmachno is quiet, the first time I was there I though I was in the wrong place since i didnt see any other bikers all day, then came across a group of about 20!!!
I've read the locals are generally against the trail centre, even though the money it would bring in there would be much more traffic in the little village. I agree Betws would be much better location.
Access to CyB is much better, just off the A470.

Is Penmachno far from Betws? I'm asking because I would be going on the train. Or would I be closer to the Marin?
edited - Just a thought...can we move this post to start a new thread. I think it's off-topic.

The start of the marin is close to Llanwrst train station but is also very acssesible from Betws. If you start from Betws then you start at a different point on the trial and not the offical start but that makes no odds.
Penmachno is a probably at a guess about a 2 - 3 mile ride from Betws.
As soon as im rideing again then you are more than welcome to a lift up with me.
Thanks for the maps rob ill get them up on the forum, very handy mate.

I think rather than going down the whole Llandegla style visitor centre, they should maybe just build a larger car park with toilet block, and advertise that that the village has a "local" shop and a pub.
