Having inspected the trail close up what's the trail like Phil? I'm tempted to go over at some stage this summer for a blast but don't want a wasted journey, have been told it's pretty good but quite short.

Follow the dog is only 7 miles or so and its ok, but add on the monkey trail and i think its 12 miles or so and a great ride. Its one of my favourite trail centres as its a bit different, technical and fun.

Where are the pics Phil? I had a moment on the 3 drops the other week. Pedals took a nice little chunk out of my shin. I didn't like the Monkey trail when I first did it, it seemed really badly built and badly designed. When I went back I loved it and they've reinforced sections of it and tweaked it here and there.

Let me know when you're thinking of going Dan. I've been wanting to have a go too but as you said, it's a bit of a journey. Would be good if we could go with a group and give it a "MBNW inspection" Did the Commy survive Phil?? And I hope you had some pads on?

Went a few weeks back as it was central for people I was meeting.
There are some fun sections and they've done the most with what they had to work with but wouldn't travel all that way just to do this centre.
Took the hardtail which coped with everything (didn't do the black rock sections) and didn't need to drop saddle.
I wouldn't do a specific trip to do it again as don't think it's worth it but each to their own. Everything's worth riding once.
A word of warning...don't take wide bars, you could be shoulder barging a few trees if you do

A word of warning...don't take wide bars, you could be shoulder barging a few trees if you do That was part of the fun There used to be marks on the trees where people kept clipping them, then they cut some of the trees down to make it wider
