Hmm been away with work and not had time to look at this for a while, but my tactic of waiting till the last minute to see if the weather forecast was good has backfired as the entries are now closed, so unless Gareth still wants to sell his entry, or you can just turn up and register, looks like I'm out

If I had seen it earlier my entry would have been available but I decided to MTFU and am now packed and about to set off to camp at rugby club tonight. I will pm you my mob no and if you want me to check whether there are entries available when I arrive later let me know and I'll confirm when I arrive and ask them.

Going to try and leave home at 6, so will probably be starting a bit after 7 by the time I get myself registered. I hope they have some double espresso at the feed stations

Some good times being shown on results page (www.chiptimes.biz) by folk on here well done everyone. Personally they say it took me 9.25 hours and I felt every second...nearly regretted the McD's breakfast I had on way to start but that soon passed. Saw a few MBNW people on route when they flew past and saw Oldbird at first feed station so hooked up with her and we volunteered to sweep up for the organisers on the long route and dragged each other around at the back to cross the finish line together joint last We were stalked however for the last 55 miles by the official sweeper upperer looking for some victims but we refused to cave in. We thought we were last out of all the routes but it was confirmed as soon as we crossed finish line when the organisers started to pack everything away This is something that's been ticked off the list but I'm still struggling to see where the "buzz" comes from riding the bone shakers but if anyone is thinking of doing this next year I would certainly recommend it in terms of organisation. Personally I couldn't fault it, well marshalled, well sign posted, feed stations well stocked etc. My body is absolutely busted though...here's to Dyfi next weekend and proper bikes

Well done Gareth and Gwyn for finishing. Drove past you on the way home near Llanberis, wound down window and waved but you were in your own little world.
Yes, a really well organised event and a great route. Really enjoyed it.

Excellent event. Weather gods shined. Glad did the Canol. Took 5 20 including stops for Gatorade, never drunk so much of the stuff. The wind was a killer coming up Capel Curig to Pen Y Pass. Great reception everywhere, managed to keep up with Sky riders for about 5 mins then hit hill and reality hit.

Well done to all the MBNW riders who rode their chosen distance at the Etape yesterday.
What a fantiastic event - I've only seen incredibly positive feedback so far.
There seemed to be a large number of MBNW riders there judging from the amount of jerseys I saw (either that or the team kit is just one of the best and stands out!!).
I tried to say a quick "well done" to those riders I saw in MBNW kit but I realise I probably missed a lot of you as I was really busy.
Thank you to everyone who watched our trials demos and cheered for the boys. Sam, Jamie and I really enjoyed ourselves.
Cheers!
Matt
