Well done Gareth and Gwyn for finishing. Drove past you on the way home near Llanberis, wound down window and waved but you were in your own little world. Good job they didn't see you, because I'm not sure you'd have made it home ;D ;D Well done, everybody, especially Gareth and Gwyn for helping out the organisers as well as completing the 100! I hope the event is on next year, I'll be entering it, just got to decide which distance

I've just tracked the Hill climb times down on TDL events. Looks like Ifan blasted up the hill to 20th overall out of 507 finishers with a time of 5.42! Adam (Sarge) got 49th on 6.10. Oggy came 73rd on 6.20 beating Ben by 39 secs. Rupert came 90th, Phil 217th. I came 381st. on 8.58 and Gareth came 411th. www.tdl.ltd.uk/race-results.php?event=1175

Great Event, really well organised. Unfortunately i enjoyed it so may have to enter some more Well done to Everyone especially to Gwyn and Gareth, thats some determination there Thought you looked like you where having fun on your skinny tyres and a pretty impressive result to boot although you should of been doing the grown ups course . good gritty work by Gwyn and Gareth, and some pretty impressive climbing by Rupert (see strava segments) expect Ben was there aswell . so lets admit it! we all had a wicked time poncing about in lycra and skinny wheels did you know there is a prize on the Wild Wales for the team to get all theyre riders home first bit of training, maybe get ourselves a chain gang rollin

WOW, That day is imprinted in my mind &[arse[ for the rest of my days, First of all i cant praise Gareth enough for dragging me round, and staying with me, if it wasn't for him id have packed up, Had cramp on every climb, staring from Drws Y Coed Hit the WALL on the Trans to Bala road, and decided i was packing up at the next Marshall, when i got there i was told that there was NO meat wagon picking us up and i would have to carry on, Fxxk me the air turned blue, then i wanted to know how much Gareth paid him to say that, thought id MTFU, buckle down and we carried on Every fxxking corner we went round there was a hill waiting for us, The First 50/60 miles was a long time coming mentally, The second time i hit the wall was from Capel to Pen Y Gwrd, ohh that head wind , but found going up PenY Pass easy, Cant praise Gareth enough, i know he seems a hard nut, but hes all heart Well organized event, apart from that Gatrade drink, which was foul, Would i do it again, hmmmm My legs and precious[fanny] were in pieces

I hope there was still something left on the feed stations for you? Doesn't help when you don't like the energy drink as that won't have helped the cramp situation. I think the low points for me were the climb before Ffestiniog and the climb after Betws. Even Ben had had enough climbs when he got to Pen Y Pass and I told him there was still one more climb to come

Pictures of the event are here. Have not looked through them all, but did notice a couple of Rupert. If I remember correctly, Gwnfor only charges something like £3 for a high resolution copy. Well worth it at that price. Happy hunting ;D
