Oi where the hell did you get me down for that crap time try these times for the 03/03/13 1.24.35 MBNW MARIN WILLY WAVE 1.24.17 Full Marin 1.22.53 Marin 1.23.53 Marin These are all the marins on the strava, which are we going to use for the willy wave? Think we need to pick one and stick to it My vote goes to" Marin no carpark start of trail to end of final" which is basically start of singletrack at start to end of singletrack at end . And therefore is more likely to record a time and easy for people to time that hav'nt got strava or a gps . All the others start and finish in the carpark at different places or fall short of the actual finish .I think Phil put up the mbnw one and maybe he could edit it to the same as no carparks . Good Point Kenny, dude your so wise Phil would you like to edit your MBNW willy wave marin to the start and end of actual trail and ill keep a track of the times off that? Also guys and girls if you use strava please join the MBNW club on there as its easy to filter segements to just MBNW riders

Fair play, you don't realize how quick these times are till you try it.. took me 2h 20 for the Marin today and I'm Goosed! Clearly more effort required, under 2hrs seems pretty good from here.

No you can have that time Jess, Willy waves can be done riding with another person, at the end of the day Daniel didnt ride ya bike for ya, well done Bloody hell, you've gone soft in your old age ;D I've updated the main wave page, but agree that we need some standardisation. For example, Karl's Garmin had him down for a 1.46 but according to his Strava details it was 1.41. So if we agree that the official time is going to be taken from the 'MBNW Marin Willy Wave', then everyone is going to have to join Strava to ensure they get an accurate time. BTW, I know a certain Mr. Evans has put in a stonking time last week, but has not posted his time up yet. However, as he's now a 'semi-pro' I'm not sure whether he's allowed to post up his times, especially as he has not put MBNW down as his second claim team and as such we may have to ban him ;D

I agree with oggy , Jess should keep her time the poor girl has enough problems being seen in public with Dan ;D . If people without Strava start their watch as they hit the single track and stop it as they come off last single track its going to be as near as damn it . For those that might be interested in doing a wave at CYB I've altered my MBR segment to start at the Forks and finish at the bottom of last single track by bridge , now named MBNW WAVE-MBR CYB . All I've got to do now is get some time on bike and get waving

Aw I worked really hard for that too.... oh well One thing I know is I wont be doing it alone at that pace! way to dangerous for a beginner like me How about half a Willy wave for good effort? No you can have that time Jess, Willy waves can be done riding with another person, at the end of the day Daniel didnt ride ya bike for ya, well done Thanks Oggy happy girl now ;D ;D ;D

Shady! In case anyone isn't on Strava I managed to pull my tripe out and post a 1hr, 9mins and 49secs on the MBNW WW segment. Probably best I'm not included in the WW lists though, wouldn't want to encourage manorexia and general cycling obsessiveness. Follow me on Strava instead- app.strava.com/athletes/225425

Picked up my new bike at lunch and decided to have it's maiden ride somewhere I know so we popped up to Llandegla and did a lap of the Red trying to get used to a bigger, slacker, heavier bike, then whilst Igg went off to do some segment bashing I did a bit of a wave around the new blue so I have a couple of times to aim at in the summer now.
Red - 1:14:36 New Blue - 47:29

Had a few spare hours today and inspired by how empty Llandegla was yesterday and how much fun I had on the HT attacking a few segments I nipped up with the F/S to waggle my Johnson around the Red route to see which bike I preferred.
There are several red route segments on Strava some miss the start zigzags, some start/finish in the carpark so I've made a 'New Red - MBNW willy wave' segment that for people who want to use a stopwatch instead of GPS it starts at the 1st hairpin from the carpark, finishes at the bottom of the last descent as the Blue meets the Red at the fireroad (30 yds before the jetwash)
Llandegla Red - 56:41 (FS)
Now I want to do it on the Hardtail as that is definately faster on the swoopy/jumpy stuff, if my back can hold out on the rough bits!
